About Benefits for Heroes

We built this because finding your benefits shouldn't be a second job.

Benefits for Heroes is an independent directory that gathers discounts, benefits guidance, and free tools for veterans, first responders, teachers, and healthcare workers in one plain-English place.

Our story

Benefits for Heroes started with a simple frustration: benefits and discounts for the people who serve our communities are real, but they're scattered across hundreds of retailer pages, agency websites, and word-of-mouth. Founded in [FOUNDING YEAR], [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], LLC d/b/a Benefits for Heroes set out to build one place that organizes it clearly — without selling anything, without gatekeeping, and without pretending to be an official government or employer program.

What we are — and what we aren't

We are an independent content and resource directory. We research, organize, and explain publicly available discount programs and general benefits information in plain language.

We are not the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a fire or police department, a school district, a hospital system, or any government agency. We don't process claims, applications, or benefits on anyone's behalf. When an article or hub page discusses a specific program, we point you to the official source — the agency, employer, or retailer — to confirm current details and apply directly.

Who we serve

Benefits for Heroes organizes its content around four groups, each with its own resource hub:
